0:00Own a Radeon card? Features that were locked to Nvidia may now be coming to your GPU. Here's the fact. A modder has ported the full Nvidia DLSS 5 suite to AMD Radeon GPUs. It works across three generations: RDNA 2, RDNA 3 and RDNA 4. That means AMD users can access DLSS features that were previously exclusive to Nvidia hardware. The project aims to match native Nvidia GPU performance through community-driven development.
0:31Nothing says fair play like a feature locked to one brand's hardware. So here's my take. This is players over platforms. One modder did what exclusives never would, and that's skill over spend. But "aims to match" is not "matches." Until you see real numbers on your own card, it's a promise, not a result. So, recruit, if you're on RDNA 2, 3 or 4, watch for real performance results before you change your setup.
