Footage Contributor Licence

1. What this is

Contributing footage is voluntary and unpaid. It is not a contest entry, it does not enter you in any prize draw, and nothing in it is awarded by chance. You keep ownership of your footage. This licence lets Global Gaming Guild LLC(“the Guild”, “we”) use the clips you upload, on the terms below.

2. The licence you grant

You grant the Guild a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, copy, edit, publicly display and distribute your contributed footage as background and illustrative visuals in the Guild's videos (including Vega News episodes and Shorts on YouTube), on the Guild site and in our Discord and social channels, and in promotion of those videos. The licence lasts for as long as videos that use the footage remain published, subject to section 6.

3. What we will do with a clip

• We remove the audio. Your voice, other players' voices and game music are never used.
• We may cut a clip into shorter parts, crop and scale it, slow or darken it, and place graphics, captions and our host Vega over it.
• We may combine it with other footage, press material and generated illustrations.
• We will not use your footage to say that you or the game endorse any product, or in a way that misrepresents what it shows.
• We choose what to use. We may reject, remove or never use any clip, for any reason.

4. Credit

Where it is practical, we show “Footage: [your gamer tag]” on screen when a clip appears, and your Twitch name if you gave one and agreed to be credited. Credit is recognition, not payment. It may be left out where a video format makes it impractical. If you decline credit we show “community contributor”.

5. What you promise

• You are 18 or older.
• You recorded the clip yourself (or have the right to licence it to us) and it is a genuine capture, not AI-generated and not edited to mislead.
• The clip contains nothing unlawful, sexual, hateful or harassing, and shows no cheating or exploit presented as normal play.
• Other people who appear (by gamer tag or on screen) are content to appear, or you have their permission. Because we remove audio, no voices are used.
• You understand the game's characters, art and world belong to its publisher. This licence covers your contribution only, not the publisher's rights, and we may remove a clip if a publisher asks.

6. Withdrawing a clip

You can withdraw any clip at any time from the contribution page. We then stop using it in new videos and remove it from our library within seven days. Videos already published may stay up, and we are not required to edit or remove them, though we will make reasonable efforts to replace the footage if you ask.

7. Your information

We keep your gamer tag, Twitch name, the clip and a record of what you accepted and when. We use them to review, credit and manage your contribution, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Liability and the law

We provide no warranty about whether or how your footage will be used. You are responsible for a breach of your promises in section 5. Our liability to you for the use of your footage is limited to the extent the law allows. This licence is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, as are our Terms of Service, which also apply to your use of the site.

9. Changes

If we change this licence we publish the new version here and ask contributors to accept it for new contributions. A change does not reduce the rights you already granted or the withdrawal right in section 6.
